About the Opportunity

The Indigenous Chamber of Commerce is seeking an experienced individual, consultant, firm, or organization to support the Chamber in growing membership, reconnecting with lapsed members, developing new business leads, and building strong relationships with prospective members.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and re-engage lapsed Chamber members.
  • Identify and connect with prospective members.
  • Conduct outreach, follow-up and relationship development.
  • Promote Chamber membership and its benefits.• Help develop compelling membership messaging and value propositions.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience in membership development, sales, business development, outreach or relationship building.
  • Strong communication, follow-up and lead-generation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.
  • Experience working with Indigenous businesses, organizations or communities is an asset.• A results-oriented approach to developing and converting prospects.
COMPENSATION This is a commission-based opportunity. There is no salary, hourly rate or retainer. Proponents are invited to submit their proposed commission rate as part of their proposal.
